If you are facing foreclosure, you are not alone. Millions of other people in your community, your state, your nation and around the world are all in the same situation — very much so. The most important thing to remember is not to pretend the problem isn't real. Stay in constant communication with your mortgage lender. Lenders really are interested in working with you to straighten the situation out, rather than trying to foreclose.
See, for example, FindLaw.com offers Ten Tips to Avoid Foreclosure, an article from FindLaw.com that describes how to prioritize your financial responsibilities.
Resources on this page provide useful information to homeowners in Anaheim Hills, and the surrounding communities, who may be facing foreclosure.
Homeowners who are behind on mortgage payments may be contacted by individuals or companies offering to help work out a loan modification with the lender, or provide other services. Please beware of anyone who asks you to pay for any of these services in advance. For more information, read the Advance Fees and Loan Modification Services article by the California Department of Real Estate.
We've made every effort to ensure the accuracy of this information. However, if you find that any of these resources have changed, please contact us.
